Does Gelagen Have Side Effects?

Gelagen, biotin and laboratory blood tests
What is documented, at what amount, and the one sentence that handles it.
Biotin interferes with some laboratory immunoassays, and the regulator maintains a list of troponin tests still affected. Troponin is the blood test used to diagnose a heart attack, and the interference there runs in the falsely-low direction, which is the direction that hides one rather than invents one.
The mechanism is straightforward: competitive immunoassays read falsely high and sandwich immunoassays read falsely low. Thyroid panels are among those affected, which is the second reason thyroid comes up on this page.

Gelagen, vitamin A and pregnancy
One nutrient here with a real limit, and the reason the audience statement is worded as it is.
The vitamin A here is retinyl acetate, which is preformed vitamin A, and preformed vitamin A counts in full against the upper limit where beta-carotene does not.
