- Thirteen ingredients, thirteen printed amounts, no proprietary blend.
- Every amount is per two-gummy serving. Do not halve a figure to get a per-gummy amount.
- A jar holds 60 gummies, which is 30 servings. A serving is one day.
- Biotin 5,000 mcg is the largest microgram figure, about eight times the next one, vitamin A at 630 mcg.
- Other ingredients and the allergen statement are on the physical jar, not published here.
- No photo of the printed panel is published, so the jar is the document.
What is on the Gelagen supplement facts panel?
Here is every amount as the seller lists it. Nothing is rounded, and choline is 0.04 mg because that is how the seller sets it.
| Ingredient | Amount per serving |
|---|---|
| Vitamin A (as retinyl acetate) | 630 mcg |
| Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid) | 20 mg |
| Vitamin D (as cholecalciferol) | 10 mcg |
| Vitamin E (as d-alpha tocopheryl acetate) | 7.4 mg |
| Vitamin B6 (as pyridoxine HCl) | 2 mg |
| Folate | 442 mcg DFE |
| Vitamin B12 (as methylcobalamin) | 6 mcg |
| Biotin | 5,000 mcg |
| Pantothenic acid | 5.2 mg |
| Choline | 0.04 mg |
| Iodine | 42 mcg |
| Zinc | 2.7 mg |
| Inositol | 40 mcg |
Servings per jar are 30. Sixty gummies at two a day makes thirty days.
Why does the serving size matter so much?
The full name on the front of the jar is Gelagen Advanced Gummies for Skin Health. A Supplement Facts panel states the amount of each ingredient per serving. On this jar the serving is two gummies. So the 5,000 mcg of biotin is what you get from two gummies, not from one.
People often halve a figure to get a per-gummy number. That is a mistake, and it makes a label look gentler than it is. The seller sells packs by supply, not by count, and this desk does not multiply them into totals the label never prints.
What is the biotin amount, and what does it mean?
Biotin is 5,000 mcg, or 5 mg. The adult Adequate Intake is 30 mcg, so this is 167 times that figure. It is also the largest microgram figure on the panel, about eight times vitamin A at 630 mcg.
More than anyone needs is not the same as more benefit. Biotin deficiency does cause hair loss and brittle nails, and correcting it helps. For people who are not deficient, a thicker-hair claim is not supported.
Biotin also touches blood tests. At supplement doses it can interfere with some lab immunoassays, and the FDA's concern is troponin, used to diagnose a heart attack. The published human work on interference starts at 10 mg a day. This label is 5 mg, and it has never been tested at that amount. Tell whoever takes your blood that you take it.
What about the vitamins A, C, D, E, B6 and B12?
Vitamin A is listed as retinyl acetate, a preformed form. It counts in full against a 3,000 mcg upper limit. The panel prints 630 mcg, about a fifth of that. That is the reason the audience statement excludes pregnancy, since intakes above the limit can cause congenital birth defects.
Vitamin C is 20 mg, and vitamin C is required for collagen biosynthesis in the body. Vitamin D is 10 mcg as cholecalciferol, and vitamin E is 7.4 mg. Vitamin B6 is 2 mg as pyridoxine HCl, and vitamin B12 is 6 mcg as methylcobalamin.
The sources used here do not describe a skin, hair or nail effect for any of those amounts in this gummy. They simply print the numbers.
What about iodine, zinc, choline and inositol?
Iodine is 42 mcg. That is 28% of the RDA and under a twenty-fifth of the upper limit, so the amount needs no warning. What matters is the person: people with autoimmune thyroid disease can have adverse effects at intakes considered safe for everyone else. If you take thyroid medicine, ask a clinician first.
Zinc is 2.7 mg. Choline is 0.04 mg. Inositol is 40 mcg. These are small figures, and they are printed in full. Folate is 442 mcg DFE and pantothenic acid is 5.2 mg.
The seller prints them all, and that is worth saying. When a small figure is printed rather than hidden, you can judge it.
What is not on the list, and where do you find it?
- Collagen. The name resembles the word, but the panel is thirteen vitamins and minerals.
- A proprietary blend. None is used.
- Other ingredients and the allergen statement. They are on the physical jar, and this site does not publish them.
- A photograph of the printed panel. Not published.
- A laboratory report. The lot, GEL-26/GO-1585, and the certificate reference, GEL-1585-26-GO, are label references only.
So the rule is simple. Read the numbers here, then check the jar when it arrives. If anything differs, the jar wins, and the website desk should hear about it.

Our view
I like that this label is plain. Thirteen names and thirteen numbers is easy to check, and easy to argue with. That is how it should be.
The one number I would always think about is biotin. It is far above what anyone needs, and it can interfere with blood tests. The rest are small. If you have a thyroid condition, take medicine or are pregnant, ask a clinician before you buy. Read the jar when it arrives, and trust it over any web page, including this one.
Nothing on this page is medical advice. Gelagen is a dietary supplement for healthy adults aged 18 and over. It is not FDA approved, and no supplement is. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. If you have a medical condition, take medicine, are pregnant or nursing, or have hair, skin or nail changes that are new or getting worse, ask your doctor first.
